My Story
I dove into the study of yoga when I was in an uncertain time of my life and completed my 200-hour teacher training at my local studio in San Luis Obispo. Yoga gave me purpose when I felt lost and taught me how to use my voice. As a mover and doer, yoga continues to remind me to slow down and to live my life more fully with awareness, openness, and understanding.
Teaching yoga truly lights me up. My classes fuse together my favorite styles of yoga, movement, pranayama, and meditation to form innovative and challenging sequences to get you moving and grooving to a thoughtfully created playlist. My goal for my classes is to create a safe environment for my students to get out of their heads, connect to their breath, and come back home to themselves. You’ll leave my class feeling balanced, centered, and maybe a little sweaty!
When I’m not teaching yoga, you’ll find me outdoors: hiking, camping, climbing, snowboarding/skiing or hanging in a hammock.
